The last couple of months have been a blur of work and travel [business related ] and its left very little time to devote to such fun pusuits like photography or even simple art appreciation.

Still, its settling down again somewhat but I will be gone again in August but this time for a vaction, this time skiing & sight seeing in New Zealands South Island.

Can't wait...

I managed to get my technically challenged friend onto DA but her 'net connection is dreadfully slow so uploading her work has to be postponed until she can get a new provider. She's now off to Papau New Guinea for the next 4 weeks on another trip and so it'll be more like 6 weeks before her page is ready.

Work is getting more intense, leaving less time to go out and capture the rapidly changing season here from Wet to Dry.

I'm also cranking up my fitness program, adding more boxing workouts to increase stamina and cardio fitness. This leaves me pretty tired by the days end and after dinner I'm usually passing out by about 8pm. The good side is though is that I'm up and alert by 5am so I'm getting more out of my days now.

I've noted in the last couple of days that a number of deviants have chosen to my selection of favourite photography.

Its interesting for me to see that other people will take an entire collection of shots rather than individually select each one. Perhaps if they'll leave a comment on a specific work they really like for the artist that's produced the work. I do hope that is the case.


I think I may have to though reclassify the photography section into erotica and normal photography.

Later this morning, I'll be helping a technically challenged friend start her account her on DA. She's travel extensively and has some remarkable pictures of the sights she's seen.
I'm hoping to eventually digitise her collection of slides as that has some pictures that you'd expect to se in something like National Geographic.
